This site is a big collaboration project by a couple of friends. We will be writing a comic together in a set order. This will be a unique and different experience for all.


Sadly, I'm going to have to put TICKL on hold. There's just not enough interest in it apparently and I don't really have the time to update as much as I'd like.

I'll keep the idea for now. But we'll have to do it sometime in the future.

AS for the comic itself... it seems to have gone a long hiatus, and I think it'd be best if we just restart the whole thing. Why? WEll, for several reasons;
1. Our art has improved a lot more sense starting the project
2. WE need to cooperate a little better, i.e. doing things when we say we're going to do them and keeping the comic looking fluid. If we do restart, I think it'd be best if we all stay with the same color scheme of black and white as our medium (Like a real comic) and do at least 3-5 pages per artist. This will keep the reader entertained, give each artist more to offer, and more time for those who are still in the drawing process. I'd highly recommend 5 pages each.
3. WE also need to think up a schedule. Will it be one artist a week? Every other week? A month? This is something we need to concider, as well as who will be able to provice work on time.
I understand this is only a hobby and for fun, but as with any comic... time is of the essence. Readers will grow bored of waiting for the next page and so will the co-authors. To keep everyone happy, it's best if we figure out a schedule that everyone agrees with.
4. Redesigns. There is nothing wrong with them... in fact, they are a good thing to do. Adding details and experiamenting with the way your character looks is a way of finding that character... and giving them their own life. BUT... with our group concisting of several different people who all have to draw these characters (albeit, we're putting a twist on it by giving them our own individual style), it can be kind of a hassle... especially when the character has already been drawn in the strip or several times in character sketches.
This is the main reason I think we should restart.

But don't fret. If we resurrect this comic, it'll be sometime NEXT YEAR, after the holidays.
